Halte 3 project

Halte 3 will use art to bring about ambitious transformations to three outdoor locations in the borough of Villeray–Saint-Michel–Parc-Extension, with the goal of highlighting and energizing these spaces.

From June to September 2017, citizens, creators and local organizations will take over Halte 3’s stations to put on shows and events that will bring people together to celebrate the diversity and beauty of Montreal in a way that is inclusive of everyone.

The first edition of Halte 3 will also be an occasion to launch a discussion with citizens about the role of public places in the future of our cities. Starting now, we invite everyone to dream up spaces that can enrich neighbourhood life and promote daily encounters with those around us.

Halte 3 is part of the official programming for Montreal’s 375th anniversary and has been made possible by the financial involvement of partners from both the public sphere – including the Government of Canada – and private partners, such as Cirque du Soleil, Ubisoft Canada and Fonds de solidarité FTQ.
